Amy Clark Meachum
is a partner with the law firm of McGinnis, Lochridge
& Kilgore, LLP. She has a diverse litigation practice in which
she represents both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide variety of
civil litigation matters. For nearly a decade, Amy has been
litigating some of the most complex litigation matters in the state
related to health care law, products liability and professional
malpractice. She has been named a “Texas Super Lawyers Rising Star” by Texas Law & Politics Magazine for the past three years (2007, 2008 and 2009) for general civil litigation.
Amy
grew up in the small town of Lorena, Texas, and attended Lorena public
schools from K through 12th grade before attending SMU in Dallas, where
she graduated magna cum laude. She then attended The University of
Texas School of Law, where she was a member of the prestigious Texas
Law Review and graduated with honors in 2000. She and her husband Kurt
have twin daughters, Alexa and Kendall, and a baby boy, Benjamin. Amy
has a passion for reading and is active with the Austin charity,
Bookspring, which promotes early childhood literacy through
partnerships with local schools and healthcare facilities.
